Week 91 Corozal, Belize-April 24, 2017

have you ever taken the bus?

or have you ever taken the bus 4 out of the 7 days of the week? that's what we had to do this past week. a whole lot of traveling! we had to go to belize city and spend the whole day there on tuesday for meetings, travel back wednesday, then do interchanges thursday to orange walk, and come back on saturday morning. lots of traveling! that wiped us out! but the whole past week was really great! recently a new branch mission leader was called here and he has been doing an awesome job coming out and working with us and also coordinating members to work with us as well. we worked with him a lot this past week. everyone was still on vacation this past week so we took advantage of the opportunity and got to go out and look for new people to teach. and it was really successful! i am actually surprised at how many people we had found that have never met the missionaries before. we have a lot of work ahead of us to do. this transfer is flying by it feels like! im already thinkin weeks ahead for all the things we need to get done here in corozal. but its been great and i love it! i hope you guys all can keep busy this week too. be good! keep the commandments! they protect you! i have seen firsthand here the terrible consequences that come from breaking the commandments or straying from the gospel. consequences that we can never foresee. there is no other way but the gospel way! okay love you guys have a great week! bye!

Week 89 Corozal, Belize-April 10, 2017

Week 6 brought miracles

Hey! This last week was awesome! I will have to be somewhat brief though...biggest news here, Ricardo got baptized! We had the service yesterday before church so a lot of members were able to come and support. It was awesome and it was obvious how happy he was the whole day about it. Also, Saturday evening Eugene, the investigator from the sister's area, also got baptized! This guys is awesome and will be a future leader in the church here in Belize. There was another baptism in Orange Walk (the other district) so the zone is just buzzing with energy right now! But! other big news is that this week are changes. Elder Rasmussen will actually be going back to El Salvador. It's bittersweet of course. The whole zone will be having changes and we will actually be closing an area as well. My new companion will be Elder Contreras! He lived with me all my time in Dangriga and has actually been here in the zone with us this whole time too haha we are both excited for it. Lots of good things are happening. I will send pictures! But I hope youre all doing great too! Love you bye!

Week 88 Corozal, Belize-April 3, 2017

Es la revelacion pura!

Hey I hope you all watched Conference this weekend! And if you didn't I hope you all repent and go watch it! Seriously it was the best! I loved so many of the talks that were given. In fact, I can't even begin to summarize or give key points of any talk in particular because there was just too much good stuff! I will leave it up to you guys to watch it again or for the first time. Just know that I loved it and was taking in every second of esa revelacion pura! The rest of this last week was also great of course. Conference was obviously the highlight. Other things that occurred: I learned how to make tortillas, we got to go out with the new senior couple Elder and Sister Flake (who are awesome and I love them), and we have been working with our investigator Ricardo who is set to get baptized this week. It was a great week! And this week will be great too! Pray for Ricardo! This coming week we will start hearing about changes and will have a lot of traveling to do so it will be real busy. Before I know it I will be writing you guys again next week. Alright well go watch Conference again like 4 more times for me. Have a great week love you all!
